We all face challenges each and every day. The challenges might be at home, in the workplace or perhaps socially. They might involve our place of worship, the school our child attends, or perhaps it has to do with our health or the health of someone we love. These difficulties may involve finances, ending relationships, or some type of addiction. The challenge could be another family member, a neighbor, or a friend. We can’t control anyone but ourselves. I have found that my reaction to a challenge can be much more damaging than the challenge itself.
Romans 5:3-5
More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.
James 1:2-4
Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
Be of encouragement to those around you!
Kindest Regards,
John Minesinger
