Encourage Others Around You

Team Lionheart

Encouragement

We all need encouragement. I can’t imagine not having others that have encouraged me during times when I felt so all alone. Maybe it was an appreciative word on days that I felt I had nothing else to give. Or perhaps a forgiving heart, when I needed it most but did not deserve it. Or a simple act of kindness. Take, for instance, our Drive-thru Difference day. I have never been on the receiving end of a meal paid for at the drive-thru until recently. The kindness that a stranger gave, made my day!

Throughout the Bible, we are instructed to encourage one another. By scripture, we are encouraged that this life is not the end! We have hope even in today’s world.

Hebrews 3:13

“But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called today so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness,” Hebrews 3:13.

1 Thessalonians 5:11

“Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.”  1 Thessalonians 5:11

Proverbs 16:24

“Pleasant words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.”  Proverbs 16:24

Without encouragement, life would be so overwhelming. Without encouragement, we may think that God does not care and does not love us.

Encouragement gives us hope. Encouragement lets us love as Jesus loves. So encourage each other to remind that God truly loves us and strengthens us. He supplies our needs. We are treasured and that our struggles are worth it.

Have a great day!
